Sally Pisen's Firework Songfic

Our songfic opens with Sally Pisen gazing down upon Aspertia City from a room in the local Pokémon Center with her Simipour.

Sally: (singing) Do you ever feel
like a plastic bag
Drifting through the wind
wanting to start again

The scene changes to Brock, former Gym Leader of the Pewter City Gym, trying to comfort his siblings as his parents are seen arguing over something. All while Sally's voice is heard singing her song.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Do you ever feel
feel so paper thin
Like a house of cards

Cut back to Sally singing.

Sally: (singing) One blow from cavin' in

The scene changes to Misty, Gym Leader of the Cerulean City Gym, who feels like a wallflower at a pool party hosted by her sisters. All while Sally's voice is heard singing her song.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Do you ever feel
already buried deep
Six feet under scream

Cut back to Sally singing.

Sally: (singing) But no one seems to hear a thing

The scene changes to Hoenn Pokémon Coordinator May at a Pokémon Center, feeling depressed about having lost a recent Contest. All while Sally's voice is heard singing her song.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Do you know that there's
still a chance for you
Cuz there's a spark in you

Cut back to Sally singing.

Sally: (singing) You just gotta
ignite the light
And let it shine

As Sally sings into the night, fireworks burst from her abdomen.

Sally: (singing) Just own the night
like the 4th of July

As this happens, we see Dragon Master Jacob McKnight and his Pokémon partner, Smaug the Charizard, witnessing the fireworks display, before we cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) Cuz baby, you're a firework

Back to Brock, who ignites his own fireworks.

Sally's Voice: (singing) C'mon, show 'em what your worth

Cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"

Finally, Brock breaks his parents apart, telling them to stop arguing for the kids.

Sally's Voice: (singing) As ya shoot across the sky-y-y

Cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) Baby, you're a firework
C'mon, let your colors burst

A party goes on at the Petalburg Gym, and Max feels left out since he still doesn't have a Pokémon of his own.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"

Back to Misty, who slowly comes toward the pool party.

Sally's Voice: (singing) You're gonna leave 'em fallin'

We now cut to Sally and her Simipour, walking on a sidewalk of Aspertia City.

Sally: (singing) You don't have to feel
like a waste of space

The scene changes to another Pokémon Center, where we find Sinnoh Pokémon Coordinator Dawn Berlitz depressed about having lost a Contest, with her Piplup close by.

Sally's Voice: (singing) You're original
cannot be replaced

Cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) If you only knew

Back to Dawn, who stands up.

Sally's Voice: (singing) What the future holds
After a hurricane

Back to Misty, who discards her clothes, revealing a 2-piece bathing suit.

Sally's Voice: (singing) comes a rainbow

Cut to Ash Ketchum, sitting by himself with Pikachu, depressed about having lost a Pokémon battle.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Maybe your reason why

Cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) all doors are closed

Back to Ash, who is comforted by Pikachu, as he thinks of the friends his made throughout his journey. Then he turns to see Serena Gabena who puts a hand on his shoulder, and he sees her smiling at him. Clemont and Bonnie are close by.

Sally's Voice: (singing) So you can open one that
leads you to be perfect road
Like a lightning bolt

Cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) Your heart will blow

Split scene shows May and Dawn slowly leaving their respective Pokémon Centers, with smiles creeping upon their faces, igniting their fireworks as Brendan and Lucas show up on either side of them.

Sally's Voice: (singing) And when it's time, you'll know
You just gotta
ignite the light
And let it shine

Cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) Just own the night

Max sees a flash of light, which is revealed to be the Ralts who befriended during his travels with May, Ash and Brock. Happy beyond words, Max ignites his own fireworks.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Like the 4th of July
Cuz baby, you're a firework

Cuts to Ash, who finally cheered up by Pikachu, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie, stands up and outside, and along with his friends, igniting his own fireworks.

Sally's Voice: (singing) C'mon, show 'em what your worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"

We then cut to Iris, who with Axew, happy to have won another battle, ignites her own fireworks

Sally's Voice: (singing) As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Cut to Misty, who jumps into the pool.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Baby, you're a firework

Cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) C'mon, let your colors burst

Cut back to Misty, who jumps out of the water, igniting her own fireworks.

Cut back to Jacob McKnight, who while thinking of fond memories of his mother, ignites his own fireworks.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh!"

Cut back to Sally.

Sally: (singing) You're gonna leave 'em fallin'

Cuts to Cilan, igniting his own fireworks after winning another battle.

Sally's Voice: (singing) Down-own-own

The scene changes to the youth of the Pokémon world, the following being - from Ash & Pikachu, Serena & Braxien, Misty & Azurill, Brock & Steelix, Tracey Skitchet & Marill, May & Blaziken, Brendan & Swampert, Max & Ralts, Dawn & Piplup, Lucas & Magmortar, Iris & Axew, Cilan & Pansage, Clemont & Heliolisk, Bonnie & Deddene, along with Gary & Blastoise, Richie & "Sparky" the Pikachu, Casey & Meganium, Bianca & Minccino, Jimmy & Typholosion, Marina & "Wani-Wani" the Feraligatr, Nate & Emboar, Rosa & Serperior, Cheryl & Mothim, Katharine & Gothita, Shannon & Hydreigon, Alain & Charizard, Mairin & Chespie, and many others. In the far back is the friendly giantess, Aurora Freeman, who as always is making sure she doesn't step on anyone or anything. At the front of the group, just in front of Ash and his friends are Jacob McKnight with Smaug the Charizard, Mia McKnight with Rocky the Phanpy, Acacia Merriweather with her Shiny Emboar, Amanda Doccuns with Simisage, Brenda Fabershire with Simisear, Mary Ann Joy with Audino, Freddy Natmeyer, Sarah Jemmunds, Charlotte and Gardevoir, Kimi and Roserade, and leading them all to a stadium with her Simipour is Sally, who continues her song.

All, except for Aurora, are inside the stadium, each one igniting their own fireworks as they start dancing to the song.
