Scrooge struggled under something while screaming.

Scrooge: Spirit, let me oot! Let me oot! A'll... Huh? (realizes) A'm home... A'm back in ma own room!

Scrooge chuckled a bit as he got out of bed, looking around his room, happily.

Charlene: (voice over) Yes, the bedposts were his own, the bed was his own, the room was his own.

It was snowing outside as we see Charlene and Spike.

Spike: (smiles to the readers) Hey, guys. We're back!

Charlene: We Pinkie Promised we would be. (winks) But the thing that made Scrooge happiest of all was that his life lay before him, and it could be changed.

Inside, Scrooge smiled as he exclaimed aloud.

Scrooge: A will live ma life in the past, the present, an the future! Oh, Jacob Marley... (falls to his knees, praying) Oh, Heaven an Christmas time be praised for this day! A say it on ma knees, Jacob, on my knees! (glances at his curtains) They're no' torn doun. They're here. And A'm here. Oh, 'tis a miracle.

Scrooge chuckled as he went over to his mirror and took off his nightcap, then walks around the room thinking aloud.

Scrooge: A dinna know what tae do. A'm light as a feather; A'm as happy as an angel; Why, A'm as merry as a schoolboy!

Outside, Spike looked downward, remembering what had happened the last time they sat near the window.

Spike: Uh, d'ya think it's safe for us to be up here?

Charlene: Scrooge is saved. What could go wrong? (giggles)

As if responding to Charlene's question and jinxing the moment, her tail started twitching.

Charlene: (notices) Uh-oh.

Just then Scrooge rushed over to the window, opening it quickly and sending the duo falling off the ledge and onto the snowy ground below again. Scrooge smiled as he looked outside to the snow and the great day that was happening. Then he spied two shivering chipmunks walking down the street.

Scrooge: A say, you doun there!

This startled Alvin and Brittany into looking up.

Alvin: What? Us?

Then Brittany spotted Spike coming out of the snow as Charlene motioned him to join her, and she motioned the Chipmunks to go on.

Alvin: Uh, what, us, sir?

Scrooge: What's today?

Brittany: Pardon?

Scrooge: (smiles anxiously) What's today, ma wee ones?

Alvin: Today? Why, it's Christmas day!

Scrooge: It's Christmas day? Then A haven't missed it! The Spirits nae only gave me another chance, but they did it all in one nicht! They can do whatever they like! Of course they can, of course they can.

Brittany: Uh, 'course they can... I guess.

Scrooge looked thoughtful for a moment. Perhaps there was a way to make up for his ways and help a certain loyal employee of his.

Scrooge: D'ye know aboot the poultry shop in the next street?

Alvin: Yes sir, we do.

Brittany: (nods) Mm-hmm.

Scrooge: An intelligent lad... An a remarkable lass.

This made the two Chipmunks blush.

Scrooge: D'ye know aboot the prize turkey that's being sold in the window?

Brittany: Oh, the one twice as big as us? It's still there!

Scrooge: Ah, 'twas wonderful talkin' with ye wee ones. Go an buy it for me.

Alvin: Be serious.

The two Chipmunks didn't have that kind of money to buy that prize meal.

Scrooge: A am bein' serious. Buy it for me, an A'll give ye a shillin'.

Brittany: Really?

Scrooge: Nae, better yet, A'll give ye five shillin's!

Scrooge quickly tossed a bag of coins out to the two Chipmunks which landed near them.

Alvin: (grabs the bag of coins) Wow! C'mon, Britt, there's no time to loose! (laughs)

Brittany: Right behind ya, Alvie!

Both Chipmunks laughed and rushed off to the poultry shop.

Charlene: And so, the two Chipmunks were off like a shot. So eager...

But the pink Pony was cut off as the two Chipmunks accidentally rammed into her and Spike, knocking everyone down in the process. Alvin and Brittany managed to get back up.

Alvin/Brittany: (sheepishly) Sorry 'bout that.

Then they quickly rushed off once more, leaving the duo to get back up.

Spike: That's gonna leave a mark.

Meanwhile, as Scrooge closed his bedroom window, he walked around eagerly planning what he was going to do.

Scrooge: A'll take it tae Bob Cratchit's house! What a surprise it'll be! Oh, it's twice the size of Tiny Tim! Oh, so much tae do! So much tae do...!

A while later, Scrooge came out of the house with joy, preparing to make this Christmas the most perfect one ever for everyone, including himself.

Charlene: And a few minutes later, dressed in his finest, Scrooge appeared on the streets of the city to wish "Merry Christmas" to all the world.

Scrooge: (to a woman and girl) Merry Christmas!

Woman/Girl: Merry Christmas!

Scrooge smiled as he went up to a couple passing by.

Scrooge: Merry Christmas!

Candace/Jeremy: Merry Christmas!

Scrooge then spied two kids named Mikey Kudo and Angie Hinamoto who were playing.

Scrooge: Merry Christmas!

Then he went over to Charlene and Spike, hugging them before heading out.

Scrooge: Merry Christmas!

Spike: (amazed) Wow! (smiles) Gee, thanks.

Charlene: Everyone was out and about this fine morning. And soon, he encountered two familiar faces.

Sure enough, Scrooge had found Wicket and Kneesaa, the same ones who asked for a donation from him yesterday, but failed. The two Ewoks gasped in alarm upon seeing him.

Kneesaa: M-m-mister Scrooge?

Scrooge: (grins) Ah, pardon me, but aboot the charity donation ye asked me for yesterday. Put me doun for...

He asked in a whisper as the Ewoks listened carefully. They gasped in shock and surprise upon hearing the amount that the Scottish duck was wanting to give them.

Wicket: Ee chee wa maa!

Kneesaa: That much?

Scrooge: Aye, an no' a penny less! All the back payments are included in it, A assure ye.

The two Ewoks were amazed. Scrooge was actually helping out the helpless and needy after all.

Kneesaa: Oh, thank you, Mr. Scrooge! Thank you so much!

Scrooge: Aye. 50 times; an a Merry Christmas to ye!

Wicket: Oh, you too, sir!

Just then Alvin and Brittany came up with the giant turkey.

Brittany: Here's your turkey, Mr. Scrooge!

Scrooge: Follow me, then.

Alvin: Okay!

With that, Scrooge headed off with the smiling Chipmunks following him. The Scottish duck happily began to sing a song.

Scrooge: (singing) With a thankful heart
With an endless joy
With a growin' fam'ly
Ev'ry girl and boy
Will be nephew and niece tae me

The crowd, along with Charlene and Spike, followed Scrooge and the Chipmunks as they too sang along.

All: (singing) Nephew and niece to me

Scrooge went to a bakery door.

Scrooge: (singing) Will bring love, hope, and peace tae me

All: (singing) Love, hope, and peace to me

Scrooge went into the bakery as he sang to the folks inside who helped him gather some good eats.

Scrooge: (singing) Yes, an ev'ry nicht'll end
An ev'ry day'll start
With a grateful prayer
An a thankful heart

Scrooge and the folks inside joined the others outside.

Scrooge: (singing) With an open smile
An with open doors
A will bid ye welcome
What is mine is yours
With a glass raised to toast yer health

All: (singing) With a glass raised to toast your health

Scrooge: (singing) An a promise to share the wealth

All: (singing) Promise to share the wealth

Everyone rushed through the city as the song continued on.

Scrooge: (singing) A will sail a friendly course
File a friendly chart
On a sea of love
An a thankful heart

Scrooge went into his office as the folks waited outside. Inside, the rich duck smiled as he had some more coal brought in for the fireplace to surprise Bob once he got back to work.

Scrooge: (singing) Life is like a journey
Who knows when it ends?

Scrooge smiled at his accomplishment here.

Scrooge: (singing) Yes, an if ye need tae know
The measure of a man
Ye simply count his friends

Scrooge then left the office, singing to the crowd.

Scrooge: (singing) Stop and look around you
The glory that ye see

Scrooge smiled as he went through the crowd, resuming his song.

Scrooge: (singing) Is born again each day
Don' let it slip away
How precious life can be

Soon Scrooge continued on with everyone following with gifts in their hands. The rich duck had a lot of places to go to and people to visit. At a familiar house, Fred and Clara Honeywell looked surprised as Scrooge came and hugged both of them.

Scrooge: Ah, nephew!

Fred: (surprised) Uncle Scrooge?

Scrooge: An' this lovely lass, I'll bet is Clara.

Clara: (taken aback) W-Why yes. Yes, I am.

Scrooge: Fred, a'm looking forward tae that wonderful meal of yours. (hands Fred and Clara gifts)

Fred: (to Clara) Well, I'll be doggone. (to Scrooge) Ya mean you're coming?

Scrooge: Of course, A am! Ye know how much A like candied fruits with spiced sugar cakes.

Fred chuckled, knowing that this was true as Scrooge began to take his leave.

Scrooge: A'll be back promptly at 2:00 pm. Keep it piping hot!

Fred: I will, Uncle Scrooge, I will! And a very Merry Christmas to you!

Clara looked confused and smiled happily. It looked as though her husband's uncle would be coming to their party after all.

Later, at an old folk's place, Granny Smith, Apple Rose, Auntie Applesauce, and many other elderly people saw Scrooge and the crowd coming in. The Scottish duck gave each of them a gift before waving goodbye to them as he left. The old folks looked amazed as some of them tried to listen to their own packages, while others shook theirs in confusion.

We now see almost everyone in town, including Fred and Clara, following Scrooge who sang once more while going to a familiar poor house.

Scrooge: (singing) With a thankful heart
That is wide awake
A do make this promise
Ev'ry breath A take
Will be used nou to sing your praise

All: (singing) Used now to sing your praise

Scrooge: (singing, to Oswald and Ortensia) An tae beg ye tae share my days

Scrooge gave them each some food and candy to celebrate Christmas with.

All: (singing) Beg you to share my days

Scrooge then turned to the mouse hole where Mrs. Brisby and her family were staying at.

Scrooge: (singing) With a loving guarantee
That even if we part

Scrooge gave some cheese to the mice, with Mrs. Brisby smiling happily as everyone else headed out.

All: (singing) I will hold you close
In a thankful heart

Scrooge: (singing) A will hold you close
In a thankful
Heart

Everyone soon arrived near the Cratchit residence with Scrooge ready to spring one great surprise on them.

All: (singing) In a thankful heart

Once everyone had arrived at the house, Scrooge smiled eagerly as he motioned everyone else to hide. He wanted this surprise for Bob and his family to be a good one. Everyone nodded as they rushed off to hide, all but Alvin and Brittany who still remained behind as Scrooge went into serious mode while knocking on the door with his cane. Scrooge chuckled a bit when he was the two Chipmunks, then motioned them away.

Alvin/Brittany: Oh, right, hide!

They quickly rushed off to hide with the turkey, making the Scottish duck grin a bit. Time to get the act going; Scrooge went back into his serious, grouchy mode.

Scrooge: (scowling) Bob Cratchit!

Soon the door opened as the mentioned mouse looked scared and gasped upon seeing his boss. Pluto and Figaro was right behind Bob, growling a little.

Scrooge: So here ye are.

Bob: (nervously) Why, Mr. Scrooge, uh...

Scrooge: You, sir, were nae at wirk this mornin' as we had discussed.

This made Bob a bit surprised and confused, while unknown to him, the duck was smiling inside secretly to himself. Emily, Pluto, and Figaro meanwhile looked worried for her husband.

Bob: B-but, Mr. Scrooge, sir, we did discuss it. It's Christmas day, you gave me the day off.

Scrooge: A? A, Ebenezer Scrooge?! Would A do a thing like that?

Bob: (nervously) Well, uh, no. I-I mean, yes, b-but you did.

Scrooge: Bob Cratchit, A hae had ma fill o' this! And therefore, I am aboot tae raise your salary!

Bob: Oh, no, sir! Please, I...

Suddenly, what Scrooge had just said sunk into Bob's mind.

Bob: Pardon?

Pluto: Huh?

Scrooge: (smiles) That's right, Bob. Raise your salary... Help pay for the mortgage on this house... An makin' ye ma partner.

Bob: A-a partner?

Bob was both surprised and happy. Scrooge was not only going to raise his salary, but was making him his partner as well.

Bob: (laughs) Oh, gosh. Please, sir, come inside.

Emily: (coming up) Oh, yes, please do.

The Cratchits then motioned Scrooge to come inside the house to join the family for Christmas.

Scrooge: Oh, an one more thing; Would ye and your family care tae join us for a little turkey dinner on this fine Christmas day?

The rest of the family looked surprised.

Scrooge: Merry Christmas, Bob.

Scrooge then stepped aside, and to the residents' surprise, Alvin and Brittany held the turkey with everyone with them entering the house.

Wicket: Ha-ha!

Kneesaa: Merry Christmas!

Alvin/Brittany: Merry Christmas, everyone!

The family looked surprised as they all smiled and greeted friends, neighbors, and strangers. It looked like this Christmas was going to be the best one ever. And it was a great surprise from Ebenezer Scrooge, the best one ever.

Outside, Charlene laughed happily.

Charlene: And Scrooge was better than his word. He did it all, and infinitely more.

Spike: (worried) And Tiny Tim?

Charlene: And Tiny Tim, who did not die...

Spike: (smiles) Aww, isn't that swell? (giggles)

Charlene: To Tiny Tim, Scrooge became a second father. He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a duck as the good ol' city ever had.

Inside the house, Scrooge was preparing to have the feast with the town as Tiny Tim was put onto his lap, while Charlene narrated this last part.

Charlene: (voice over) It was always said of him that he knew how to keep Christmas well if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that truly be said of us and all of us; and so as Tiny Tim observed...

Tiny Tim: (smiles) God bless us.

Scrooge: (smiles) God bless us, everyone!

Soon he began to sing.

Scrooge: (singing) Well A've met someone
Who touched ma soul
An made ma world brand-new

Tiny Tim joins in: (singing) There's part of me a place inside
That now belongs to you
The love we found

Soon everyone else began to join in on the song as we begin to zoom out of the house and into the streets.

All: (singing) The love we found
We carry with us
So we're never quite alone

The love we found
The love we found
The sweetest dream
That we have ever known

Charlene and Spike waved goodbye to the audience who was leaving the story.

Charlene: Goodbye!

Spike: See ya later!

The camera now zoomed away from the city and towards the sky.

All: (singing) The love we found
The love we found

Mrs. Brisby and her family giggle as they too waved to the readers as the song was coming to an end.

Mrs. Brisby and family: Goodbye! Goodbye!

All: (singing) We carry with us
So we're never quite alone

Spike: (voice over) Nice story, Ms. Dickens.

Charlene: (voice over, chipper) Oh, thanks. If ya like this, you should read the book.

Chapter 5:

ChipmunkRaccoon's Christmas Carol Chapter 5Scrooge looked around in concern. He knew that the last Spirit was sure to show up in some way. He hadn't noticed a huge gust of wind coming from behind him, until he turned and gasped upon seeing it and some fog. He tried to run away, but the fog soon overcame him, absorbing him into it. When all was clear, the Scottish duck found himself in a graveyard that was foggy, even grimmer than before. He looked around some more, then turned around and gasped upon seeing someone behind him.
It was a tall dark gray unicorn Pony with silver armor on his legs and neck, a black mane and tail, a red robe, green eyes with red irises and a purple mist emanating from them, and a red sharp and curved horn.
Scrooge: Am A in the presence of the Ghost of Christmas Yet tae Come?
Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come: (slowly nods) Yesssss...
Scrooge: Spirit, A fear ye more than any specter A have yet met.
The door of the church opened up as Charlene and Spike watched on, looking terrified.
Spike: (gulps)
