39. Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt's Engines (1995)

Dear Friends,
I went to see Sir Stephen Topham Hatt the other day. I told him that in 1995 it would be fifty years since the first stories about his Railway were published.

"Good gracious me!" he said. "We must do something to celebrate that."

And he set to work. Not everything went quite right. For instance, Thomas... but I won't spoil the stories - happy reading.
